Isa – the Iguana. Designed by Helena Giersz.

Isa was described to me by Chris Gifford and Valerie Walsh as someone who loves flowers and is very girly. Also, she was supposed to be like a garden loving character. so at first I wanted to give her some clothes like maybe a hat or gloves or a bag, but in the end somehow it was one of those characters that just ended up being a green lizard with long, beautiful eyelashes and big eyes. I think somewhere in the show she was supposed to have a crush on boots but I never noticed it:). Isa was also part of the original lineup that I created on paper with watercolors in 1998. Next Isa was design by me and done by my Polish friends from Fumi Studio in Poland – it was a 3-D Isa for the reboot of Dora the Explorer. We tried a hat but it did not work :).
